Website Management For The Work That Is Nobody's Job.

A live store generates a steady stream of small tasks that are never urgent until they are embarrassing. We do them, on a schedule, and every change is written to a log you can read without asking us.

What A Month Looks Like

None of it is dramatic. That is the point: the alternative is two years of quiet degradation followed by a rebuild.

Catalog

New Products, Priced And Photographed

Added properly: variants that hold their own stock, categories that put them somewhere findable, images converted at upload rather than uploaded at whatever size the camera made.

Content

Pages That Stop Being True

Seasonal copy, shipping cut-off dates, the banner still advertising a sale that ended. This is the work that never gets done in-house because it is never urgent until it is embarrassing.

Automations

Flows That Quietly Stopped

Every run leaves a record with per-step timings and errors, so a flow that has been failing since a template changed is something we find rather than something a customer reports.

Platform

Dependencies And Versions

The upgrades nobody schedules and everybody needs. On a maintained stack this is routine instead of the annual crisis it becomes when it is skipped.

Search

Links That Broke

Products retired without a redirect, categories renamed, the sitemap drifting from the site. Small each time, and cumulatively how a store loses traffic without a single visible event.

Reporting

What Actually Changed

Every mutating change against your organization is written to an audit log you can read yourself. What we did is a record, not a summary we wrote about ourselves.

You Can Always Check.

Every mutating request against your organization is recorded: what changed, who changed it, when. That log is yours to read whenever you want, and it does not distinguish between your team and ours.

Which is a better arrangement than a monthly report, because a monthly report is written by the people being paid for the month.

And You Can Always Leave.

Everything on this page is editable in the dashboard by anyone on your team. Nothing about the arrangement makes you unable to take it back, and no part of the platform is configured so that only we can operate it.

A retainer that survives because leaving is hard is not a retainer, and it is not a business worth having.

What Is Not In It

Quoted separately

New Development

Building a feature or integrating a new system is a project. Custom development has its own scope and its own number.

Quoted separately

Redesigns

Reworking how the store looks is website development, not maintenance. Folding it into a monthly fee is how retainers become resented.

Agreed, not published

Terms

Response times and availability get negotiated and written down rather than printed on a page that has never seen your store.

Questions People Ask

What is ecommerce website management?

It is the continuous work a live store generates that is nobody's actual job: adding products properly, retiring old ones with redirects, keeping seasonal content honest, noticing that an automation stopped, and applying the updates that only become urgent once they are overdue. It is the difference between a store that ages well and one that degrades quietly for two years.

Could I not just do this myself?

Yes, and some clients do most of it and keep us for the technical half. Everything described here is editable in the dashboard by design, and the platform is not built to make you dependent. The service exists because it is work, not because it is secret.

How do I know what you actually did?

Every mutating request against your organization is recorded in an audit log you can read without asking us, which is a stronger answer than a monthly summary written by the people being paid. If a price changed or a flow was edited, the record says who and when.

Is there an uptime guarantee or a response time?

Those are contract terms rather than marketing copy, so they get agreed in the scoping conversation and written down, not published as a number on a page that has never met your store. A retainer sold with an SLA nobody negotiated is a retainer cancelled in month four.

What is not included?

New development. Building a feature, redesigning a section or integrating a new system are projects with their own scope, and folding them silently into a monthly fee is how retainers become resented. They get quoted separately, which usually means smaller.

Do you manage stores not built on your platform?

Sometimes, and honestly it is a worse deal for you. Most of the value here comes from working on a stack we maintain, where we can see the audit log, read the flow runs and deploy a fix. Elsewhere it becomes ordinary agency retainer work at ordinary agency prices.

Hand Over The Small Stuff.

Tell us what is currently not getting done and who is currently not doing it. That is most of the scoping conversation.
