DashForDevs is a multi-tenant commerce backend developed by CodeCraft Studios. We build and maintain production storefronts on it, so it gets tested in real conditions rather than in a demo.
Our story
Why We Built This
Building e-commerce for clients meant picking between two bad answers. Take a hosted platform and accept its limits, or roll your own and maintain every part of it forever. Neither was right, and we kept having to choose one.
So this started as the backend we built for our own client projects. Orders, inventory, shipping, payments, email, content: the pieces every storefront needs, packaged into one API and a dashboard you can hand to a client without training them for a week.
Then we opened it up. The SDK lets a developer build the frontend in whatever framework they already use, and the dashboard gives the people running the business the controls they need. Neither side has to compromise for the other, which was the whole point.
The other reason it exists is the part most providers skip. Hemp, THCA and CBD businesses get turned down by mainstream platforms, and we kept building for them anyway. Handling that properly, from the checkout up, is built into the product rather than negotiated by email.

How We Decide What Goes In
Six positions, and each one has cost us a feature somebody asked for.
Developer first
Every endpoint, SDK method and data model was designed around the person calling it. The docs are the ones we would want to read, because we are the first people to read them.
Built from real client work
This came out of building storefronts for clients, so it solves the problems that actually came up rather than the ones that look good in a feature list.
No feature sprawl
We cut what does not earn its place. The tools needed to run a store, a wholesale operation or a service business, and not much else.
Pricing you can check
A monthly base plus metered usage, with every line and its rate shown in the dashboard. No proprietary export format, so leaving is a script you can write.
We run on it too
Production storefronts we maintain sit on this platform. An outage is our problem before it is yours, which is the only kind of reliability promise worth making.
Independent
A studio product, not a funded company with a growth target attached to it. We ship what matters and we maintain what we ship.
